LaHave Salmon Pools

A static map of named pools on the three branches of the LaHave River

Like so many other salmon rivers, the pools of the LaHave each have countless stories to tell. The river is steeped in tradition, despite no longer having salmon anglers on its banks.

Several of the more productive pools from days gone by remain closed now during peak season to protect the fish that return to the river. Please check the latest edition of the Nova Scotia Anglers Handbook for the most up-to-date information on closed pools.
